| How
long does it take to set up the Aqua Jump attachments? |
It
takes about 10 to 15 minutes to set up the Aqua
Jump attachments, and another 10 to 15 minutes
to attach them properly to the Aqua Jump. |
| What
are the tubes made of? |
The
tube material is the same high-grade material
used in ocean-going inflatables and Zodiak boats.
It's 28oz., 1000 Denier, UV-treated PVC vinyl.
All seams are heat-welded for maximum strength
and doubled at key stress points. |
| Can
the Aqua Jump attachments be used in salt water? |
Yes,
the Aqua Jump attachments can be used in the
ocean and other salt water bodies. |
| Will
the Aqua Jump attachments fade in the sun? |
The
tube material will retain its brilliance for
years because it is UV-treated. |
| Can
the Aqua Jump attachments be left out in the
water? |
Most
people leave their Aqua Jump attachments in
the water for the season. There are two things
to consider: 1)your local regulations for anchoring
and 2) if the areas is consistently exposed
to high winds. |
| How
deep does the water have to be to use the Aqua
Jump attachments? |
Like
the Aqua Jump, you should anchor your Aqua Jump
attachments in at least 10 feet of water in
an area at least 30 feet from any docks, boats,
or other obstructions. This is especially true
with the Aqua Launch. |
| How
do you anchor the Aqua Jump attachments? |
It
depends on the water depth, the water bottom,
exposure to high winds, and strength of the
currents. There is an anchoring point on the
Aqua Launch and Aqua Log that includes a stainless
steel O-ring. You can attach any anchor to that
ring, or create an anchoring mechanism of your
own. |
| Can
the Aqua Jump attachments be used on land? |
The
Aqua Jump attachments were not designed for
use on land. Like any inflatable product, the
Aqua Jump attachments should not be exposed
to rough edges or sharp objects like rocks and
sticks. |
| How
do you repair the Aqua Jump? |
You
can locate a leak in an inflatable product by
spraying the tube with soapy water. When you
find the leak and determine the hole size, use
a patch from the repair kit and cut a swatch
1/2 inch wider than the hole. Deflate the product
and clean the area around the hole with rubbing
alcohol. Apply glue from the repair kit to the
patch and the area around the hole. Let the
glue dry until it becomes tacky. Stick the glued
parts to each other and rub them together using
a hard, flat, smooth surface. Let the patch
dry for at least 24 hours before inflating.
For bigger holes and tears, follow the same
procedure but put a patch on the inside as well
as the outside. |
| What
is the warranty on the Aqua Jump attachments? |
RAVE
offers a one-year warranty for defects in material
and workmanship. If the product is being used
commercially, like at a camp or resort, there
is a 60-day warranty. |
| How
do you maintain and store the Aqua Jump attachments? |
To
store the Aqua Jump attachments, you should
first clean the entire inflatable. After it
dries, you can deflate the tube using the an
inflator or a shop vacuum. Roll the tube loosely
and place it in a container. (A large plastic
garbage can works well to store the tube and
keep safe from mice). |
